Chickens

At Red Forest Rabbitry, we also keep a few laying hens. Currently we have two Silky crosses, one of which has been causing us quite a bit of trouble. The large black and white girl is a Silky-Wyandotte cross named “Clever Girl”, and the smaller brown girl is a Silky-Ameracauna cross. Thus far, we think the large girl may actually be a silent rooster as she has never lain an egg for us.

We should be getting three more girls Wednesday the 31st of August. Two “Easter Eggers” and one black Australorp.
